Lush Review
Got a package in the mail today!!! My order from LUSH!
I am going to break up this review into 3 parts so I can devote enough space to each product because they are just too fabulous and 1 post was not enough!
Product #1 Bombardino
I have tried bath bombs in the past and I really enjoyed them but this was my first experience with a LUSH bath bomb and wow!
This bath bomb was described as a Lemon-Cheesecake type smell, with Sicilian Lemon Oil and Vanilla. It's like that but not sickly sweet... if you made lemon cheesecake into an alcoholic drink it would smell like Bombardino (to me)
Though smaller than the other Bomb from my order, it's pretty good sized. I have a very large "garden" tub in my bathroom (and yes, it's yellow) and it really filled the whole tub.
I ran a tub full of very warm water and dropped in the Bombardino Bomb.... it started melting and the room filled with the delicious lemony scent. Look at the layers! The bath water turned a honey-yellow color and was filled with moisturizing oils.
There are little bits of Cocoa butter are imbedded in the Bomb and they slowly melt into the water. The oils moisturize your skin as you soak.
I felt so relaxed in the warm tub full of rich oils... I hardly wanted to get out... and like a child, I waited until my fingers got wrinkly before getting out of the tub!
It's been a few hours since my bath and my skin is feeling so soft and still smells like the Bombardino Bomb. I love it!
I will be putting this bomb on my Christmas list! They also have some awesome gift sets I'd like to buy for a couple of loved ones this Christmas!
Product #2 Rose Jam
Description: A decadent, rosy shower gel made with vanilla pod infusion, goji berry juice and nourishing argan oil, Rose Jam leaves your skin soft, hydrated and sweetly-scented.
Lathering up with this shower gel is a truly indulgent way to wash!
I love the smell of roses. I have been looking for a product with a nice rose scent but had found a rose scent I really liked until now. Most rose scents seem to have an older, "perfumey" type smell and really miss the mark of how a fresh rose should smell.
Rose Jam is said to smell like roses and vanilla and maybe it's just me but I smelled roses and a light honey scent. If you have smelled it, let me know if you thought it smelled a bit like honey also!
I love the scent. Right on with this one!
The shower gel is not really thick as you can see, but a little goes a long way. I put the amount you see above onto a bath puff and had way too much. I have a thing about using too much product....but believe me when I say a little Rose Jam will wash your whole body.
Rose Jam left my skin feeling soft and smelling sweet and fresh. Love it!
Rose Jam Contains Sicilian Lemon Oil which is said to clarify skin and brighten your mood!!
OH and it's only available until December 25th!! So don't wait to treat yourself!
Big Thanks to LUSH for allowing me to review their products!!!
